This is my first and second attempt at Ikebana.
I gathered all of these flowers at the side of the road!
I think they terned out pretty good.
The 1st one found a home in our bathroom.
The 2nd one ended up in the living room,as the days rolled by the arrangement kept moving and tilting!?
I knew the boys weren't messing with it!...humm.....Then a couple days later I discovered that Akemie thought it was her personal toy!
The watter bottle had to come out agen..Ugg!!..and the boys enjoyed guarding my flowers way to much!
Then a couple days after I made these arrangements I went to my favorite thrift store and found 2 books on Ikebana!!
Now Ikebana books are hard to fined in regular book stores let alone a thrift store in a small town!!!
I have bin also searching for potential containers for my arrangements, I'm getting a nice little collection starting.
